NYC FreakOut Fest is a week-long event that gives musicians of rock, metal, coverband…genres a chance to perform amongst like-minded players. All of the events take place at Bar East, located at 1733 1st Avenue at 90th street, in the upper east side.
Transcend the Core played on Friday November 11th amongst rock/punk bands like psychobilly outlaws-Turnbucklers, musically gifted and lushfully sounding-Stonerway, Yabu Hebi, Gatos de Sensei, Sky Picnic and Rick Reinhart and the Cast of Characters.
TTC’s 45 minute set list featured the following songs.

Deconstructed is the latest song from Transcend the Core and will be released shortly. It’s a sludgy, number about person who finds solace and self-actualization in music. Beginning at a lower tempo with psychedelic, grunge taste it moves into a frantic, shred situation.
Turnbucklers provide a frenetic, soup of sweet musicianship. Done in the style of psychobilly, rock and metal, their musical chops and non-dismissible sound are there super powers. Stoner way are a rock/reggae/alt act from NYC. Their music is cooly honest, light and melodic at times but can swing to a heavier sound.
